Appliance Certificate Validation

AsyncOS enables you to perform a FQDN validation when you import the appliance certificate into the appliance. You must enable the validation manually.

Procedure

Step 1

Enter the CERTCONFIG > CERTIFICATE > SETUP command.

Prompt>  CERTCONFIG > CERTIFICATE > SETUP >

Step 2

Enter if you want the intermediate certificate.

Do you want to add an intermediate certificate? [N]>

Step 3

Enter if you want to check for FQDN.

Do you want to check if Common Name is in Fully Qualified Domain Name(FQDN) format ? [N]> y
